After School Program
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:10 - 5:15pm
Location: Birney Elementary School
Requirements: Students in 1st-4th Grades

ACES After School Program includes homework assistance, recreation, computer interaction, tutoring, art and music, and a community project. Located at Birney Elementary School, this program runs September to May. Staff is certified in CPR/First Aid. Free of Charge.
Case Management
Hours: Monday-Friday: 9:00am-6:00pm
Location: Main Office and Cooke locations
Includes visitation, assessment, development of a support plan and monitoring status and outcome services. The case manager will work with other community service providers and will update the DHS database regularly to track services to clients. Case Managers will be supervised and supported by a licensed social worker who will provide ongoing case review and consultation.
Housing and Employment
Hours: Tuesdays, 9am-4pm
Location: Main Office
One-hour sessions on a one-on-one basis are provided by the Womenıs Community Revitalization Project, where individuals may receive assistance on resume building, job search, interviewing skills, and housing counseling. Individuals in need of housing and employment services may call and schedule an appointment or receive a referral by a Case Manager.
Parent Education

Cambodian Parenting Education Program Contact: Kallyane Sok or Sarom Sok
An array of educational and support services provided to parent/caregivers and designed to promote the safety and well-being of children. Classes, workshops, a support group, and home visits will be offered. Group sessions with a Masterıs Level facilitator using a tested curriculum will be emphasized. Free of Charge.
Positive Youth Development

Requirements: Students in 5th-8th grades

The PYD program will run continuously from September to May, with boys and girls admitted on a rolling enrollment. Activities will include music, sports, team-building, homework assistance and other activities geared to the interests of the youth. Activities will also be offered to children whose parents are attending our Parenting Education Programs with parallel activities to match the concepts and skills explored in parenting classes. Free of Charge.
Summer Camp
Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:30am-2:30pm
Location: Birney Elementary School
Requirements: Students ages 6-10 years old living in 19120, 19140, and 19141

The Summer Camp program runs for 5 weeks in June-August at the Birney Elementary School. The program is organized into 4 interest sub-camps: Art, Agriculture/Science, Dance/Music, and Sports. This program is free of charge with weekly field trips and swim outings.
Truancy Prevention and Parent Truancy Officers
Hours: Monday-Friday: 8am-4pm
Location: Birney Elementary School

This service is provided by referrals from the School District of Philadelphia. Provides free case management for school age children who are legally truant from the Philadelphia School District. Services include assessment, treatment plan development, resource and referral, and advocacy.
